Er is voldoende elektriciteit in Nederland, maar de kabels kunnen de stroom niet transporteren van productie naar verbruik. De oorzaak is de versnelde elektrificatie van wagenpark en industrie, gecombineerd met extreme bevolkingsdichtheid. Netbeheerders werken met een strikte prioriteringslijst: maatschappelijk belang (defensie, zorg, onderwijs) en woningbouw gaan voor. Kantoren, logistiek en industrie belanden op wachtlijsten tot ver na 2035. Voor ADD betekent dit dat woningen elektriciteit krijgen, kantoorruimtes en winkels niet.<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div><div>Nederland is de eerste die tegen deze grenzen aanloopt door ambitieus elektrificatiebeleid en hoge dichtheid. Het echte probleem is een falend overheidsbeleid. De signalen waren er, maar er werd te laat gereageerd. Woningbouw kan nog beperkt doorgaan, maar kantoren komen niet meer van de grond.<\/div><div dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0<\/div><div>ADD koos voor een radicale aanpak: volledig off-grid. Na maanden zoeken naar alternatieven ontstond een hybride systeem waarin zonnepanelen, batterijen, elektrische boilers, warmtebuffers, warmte-koude-opslag en gasgeneratoren intelligent samenwerken. Zonne-overschot in de zomer wordt omgezet in warmte, gasgeneratoren leveren in de winter elektriciteit \u00e9n warmte. Een cruciaal punt hierbij is dat alle emissies (CO\u2082, stikstof, fijnstof) worden afgevangen. De brandstof is niet het probleem, maar wat deze met het klimaat doet. Door emissies te neutraliseren ontstaat een werkbare oplossing. Bovendien kan het project met \u00e9\u00e9n druk op de knop overschakelen zodra het net w\u00e9l capaciteit heeft. Het alternatief is wachten en dit betekent dat verouderd, energie-slurpend vastgoed blijft bestaan. Of deze oplossing breder toepasbaar is? Beperkt.
